NewSpace at Berkeley hosts recruitment events and speaking engagements as a way to connect with companies and organizations in the space industry. These events provide an opportunity for companies to showcase their products, services, and career opportunities to a talented and diverse group of students and professionals. Speaking engagements can also be a way for companies to share their expertise and insights with the community, and inspire the next generation of space professionals.
NewSpace at Berkeley partners with companies for its two-semester student-run course, the NewSpace Entrepreneurship decal, which is structured like a fellowship. In this course, students learn from lectures and then complete a project with the partner company, utilizing a mix of business and technical skills. These project partnerships provide an opportunity for companies to collaborate with the next generation of space professionals and tap into their innovative ideas and fresh perspectives. Project partnerships with NewSpace at Berkeley can be a valuable way for companies to support the development of the space industry and get involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem at UC Berkeley. Partner companies can also benefit from the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team of students, who bring enthusiasm and expertise to the project.
NewSpace at Berkeley offers a range of sponsorship opportunities for companies interested in supporting the organization and the space industry. These sponsorships can take many forms, such as providing financial support for events or projects, offering in-kind donations of goods or services, or collaborating on joint initiatives. Sponsorships can be customized to meet the specific needs and goals of each company. As a sponsor, you will get the opportunity to showcase their products or services to a targeted audience, build brand awareness and reputation within the UC Berkeley aerospace community, and support the development of the next generation of space professionals.
